Two renowned brands in the Santa Catarina fashion industry, Latina Têxtil and Diklatex are references in the development of fabrics with technology and innovation for beachwear and intimate fashion items. With production distributed throughout Brazil, companies constantly invest in innovation in the industrial process. One of the recent investments took place in the finalization phase, with the adoption of proofreaders from Delta Máquinas, from Pomerode. With the solutions, tissue review became automated, with data integrated into the companies’ management system.
ABOUT THE SOLUTION
Delta’s proofreader was developed for the inspection of knitted and woven items, whether upon receipt of material from the supplier or in other sectors linked to quality control. It has a background lighting system on an inspection table with a different inclination that, through sensors, guarantees the ideal alignment of the fabric rolls. The panel also contains data related to quality, useful area footage, weight and width of the fabrics. This process results in less waste and greater ease in identifying defects.
André Jativa, director of the companies, comments:
“We have been following Delta for some time and the company’s positioning, which knows and works to improve the production chain, is a reason for pride in this partnership.” “With the reviewers, we implemented improvements and automation in the review process and integrated it into the packaging of items.”
According to the executive, Delta’s machine technology should encourage new applications in factories:
“We have already started conversations about other solutions because we are already feeling the gains in our production. Delta, like us, aims to work towards continuous improvement and strengthening of the national textile chain”.
