Delta and Havan partnership: complete mesh test in 14 minutes
The retail giant’s laboratory already performs traditional visual identification and dimensional inspection practices. But, in addition, it also has the Delta Máquinas Sample Washer to replace domestic equipment and optimize mesh testing Havan
, one of the largest Brazilian retailers, has a textile laboratory where all the pieces produced by the brand pass through. Thorough inspection of the parts aims to guarantee high quality of the final product. Here, the Technology is a great ally in this process. In addition to the visual and dimensional inspection steps carried out by the team of 21 people, the laboratory also has machines that automate some steps. This is the case of the Sample Washer, from Delta Máquinas
. A máquina foi desenvolvida para substituir o uso de equipamentos domésticos de lavação e secagem na textile industry. In addition to considerably reducing the time for this process, the solution reduces the consumption of water, energy and raw materials, guaranteeing the final quality of the product.
Results of textile automation generated by the Delta Sample Washer
Now, with Delta’s textile machine, in the Havan laboratory, it only takes 14 minutes to test the samples.
“With domestic equipment, this process takes around three hours and the company does not have precise data. With the Washer, it is possible to have a more automated and standardized on the performance of the fabric. This data helps the company to ensure a more efficient manufacturing process and higher quality in the finished product. ”, says the CEO of Delta Máquinas, Fábio Kreutzfeld.
According to Havan’s product manager, Juliana Nunes, the retailer discovered the Delta Sample Washer during a technical visit to a partner’s laboratory.
“We opted for the solution, as it brings an increase in productivity, considering the high volume of parts received and tested in our Havan Distribution Center (CDH). In 14 minutes does the job that a conventional washing machine would do in 3 hours”, he says. Juliana highlights that the equipment, in addition to being efficient, is intelligent, as it indicates the percentage of mesh shrinkage, facilitating the process. “Another advantage is water savings, which means you can use up to 80% less”, he concludes.
Havan currently has testing equipment in its laboratory and you can check the testing process in the video below:
